Aija’s story shows that communication barriers can be overcome.

Aija, a highly competent leader with years of experience, found herself struggling to connect effectively with her team. Despite her extensive knowledge and strategic vision, her communication style often led to misunderstandings and tension within the workplace.  

Aija’s communication style was deeply rooted in the cultural norms of her country of origin, where direct and passionate expression was valued. However, in her current work environment, this approach was often misinterpreted as hostility or anger.

She had recently had conversations with peers who had mentioned that her direct feedback style was seen as overly critical. 

Realising that something was holding her back, she decided to seek leadership coaching. When she first arrived she was deeply upset that she was being seen this way, as she loved her team very much. She understood that to achieve her career goals, she needed to confront what she was being told.

With guidance, she learned to implement changes, that helped her to see the impact, and that transformed the team dynamics dramatically. 

John’s story is one of resilience and self-discovery.

A highly qualified professional with years of experience, she dreamt of launching her own business.
